This 700-year-old city offers an abundance of classic architecture, cafés, and restaurants to explore before you embark on your river cruise through Holland and Belgium. Sail through Rotterdam’s harbor, said to be the world’s busiest port. Garden enthusiasts will delight in a visit to see the breathtaking colors of Keukenhof, also known as the “Garden of Europe.” With 70 acres of parkland and lakes, it’s one of the world’s largest flower gardens. Next, sail to Antwerp, Belgium’s second-largest city, combining ancient buildings and monuments with modern architecture.
In Ghent, Belgium, join a local expert for a guided tour of the city, including a visit to St. Baaf’s Cathedral. No trip to Holland is complete without a visit to the technical miracle that is the Delta Works, a storm flood barrier almost six miles long, constructed after the floods of 1953. ANDY KEENEY, Previous Co-Chair of the Kaufman & Canoles Credit Union Team. Andy is a nationally recognized credit union attorney, industry speaker and frequent EduCruises speaker as well. Credit Union Times has identified him as a veteran credit union attorney. One credit union CEO has called Andy the “Dr. Marcus Welby” of credit unions. He currently serves as general counsel for dozens of credit unions, and has been representing credit unions for more than 30 years.
Andy is a top speaker at credit union industry events around the country where he regularly receives rave reviews. His clients include credit unions from New York to Florida and as far west as Hawaii. Andy also has been specially retained by NCUA.
Andy serves as the legal counsel for the Maryland & DC Credit Union Association and is one of their strategic partners. His practice also includes a range of commercial real estate services from zoning to leasing and purchase and sale of commercial real estate for credit unions.

At lunch, you’ll find an enticing buffet laden with fresh salads, pasta dishes, hot entrees, and desserts, as well as meals to order from the menu; a light lunch option is also available in the Main Lounge. In the afternoon, stop by the Main Lounge for tea or complimentary espresso, as well as sandwiches, pastries and cookies. Dinner is a multi-course affair, accompanied by free-flowing wines and beer.

Join a full - or half-day Guided Tour of breathtaking Keukenhof—known as the “Garden of Europe”—for its 70 acres of lush parkland, lakes, and the world’s largest flower gardens—with more than seven million tulips, daffodils and hyacinths as well as other bulbs, planted each year. Take some free time to relax on the harbor-side in Rotterdam with an artisan beer, a slice of appeltart (Dutch apple pie), and a koffie verkeerd, a typical Dutch drink of half coffee, half milk. Take a bike from your ship to explore Rotterdam and the surrounding area. Before dinner, enjoy a cruise through Rotterdam harbor. Later, enjoy live entertainment on board. You may choose to join a Guided Optional Excursion to the nearby capital, Brussels—considered home to the European Union, and admire its magnificent palaces and cathedrals. Or you might prefer to take time on your own to indulge in Antwerp’s signature Belgian waffles and crêpes—or explore this bike-friendly city from its old wharfs to its legendary diamond district.
